White&Blue Christmas!!! :D

Me and my sister decorated our tree and we're having a Christmas tree outside the house.

It's not that much but we still feel the essence of Christmas.
Well, back to our reality... hello exams!

SM Lanang Premier

It opened a month ago but I didn't grab the chance to go there even though we just live nearby. I just don't want to make "siksikan" into a huge crowd and besides the mall is not going anywhere, right? Might as well wait 'till 3/4 of Davao's population has already gone there. :)

On our way to the entrance
It has the "MOA feel"

oooh! National Book Store is at 2nd floor! :O It's not usually on 2nd floor. he he. *igno*
It is so SPACEY!!! It made me feel smaller. haha.

Starbucks at the center of the Mall, it reminds me the Starbucks at Shinagawa Station at Japan. ;)

So that's it, the mall is just big... too BIG or should I say SPACEY. :)

Hey October! :D

I was kinda busy and I haven't updated my blog just yet... It is still under construction but I'm still gonna post some entries for the month of October anyway (nothing's gonna stop me, except Krypton. ha ha. jk.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who says that I'm going to be bored this sembreak?

I do! HA HA. I expected that it would be boring though but not when I indulge myself into photography. I collaborated with my fashionista friends to have a photo-shoot with their outfits. It was a fun and exciting experience for me because I never thought that once I uploaded the pictures on facebook it will get a bunch of likes and comments. Praises and compliments were sent through a wall posts, private messages and even through texts which is also flattering because I didn't only get it from ordinary people but also people who knows a lot more on photography than I do.

It was perfect! I have a great sembreak so far and I hope it will continue before 2nd sem start because for sure I'm going to be so damn busy for the next couple of months.

Before I end this post, here are some best photos of the following fashionistas:

  Pao Tizon

                                                                      Lyssa Azucena

Pao & Lys on their very colorful and poppin' outfits :D

                                                                          Camille Ty

                                                                     Micah Villagomeza

Camille&Micah. I just  told them to laugh and BAM! My favorite shot so far. :D

Basic Photography 1-O-1 with Bob Mata

I learned a lot of things today and it is such an awesome experience to be part of this workshop. This is my first time to attend a seminar about photography, basically for one reason... it is FREE... with snacks. ;D

I expected that this seminar would be some ordinary kind of thing but being there for 3hours is really worth it especially for a newbie like me.

Here are some tips that I got from the seminar (and I want to share it with you because I am totally a good person :D ) :

Yes indeed, we need light in order to have a neat picture... To people who wants to have a real photoshoot with me:  don't be too maarte if I tell you to get out there and expose yourself to the sun because it is the only light source I got! If I tell you that we'll shoot at 6am in the morning or at 1pm in the afternoon... that's fix! Don't complain because of the heat or whatever, being the photographer is also not easy. Just sayin'.  :p

Use more lights!!! It is the only way that you can capture photos artistically from anybody else.
Learn more about APERTURE!!! :)

It is recommended to use tripod when you are dealing with low light...

So, don't be too close nor too far. :)

By some famous photographer...

You should have the reason why you indulge yourself in photography, not just because it is the "thing" today... but because you want to capture every moment by heart. *chos* :))

And that's it, there are still more but these are just the straight-to-the-point stuff that you want to know... or the point of the whole thing.
So go out there and don't be hesitant to ask, practice more and discover... just like what Sir Bob Mata said,
"Perfect practice makes perfect"

I hope that somehow you gain something out of this post about basic photography.

Ciao!

"This is not a boring subject, it is YOU who are boring"

My teacher in Theology once told us: "This is not a boring subject, it is YOU who are boring"

...so it's the same on how you deal with other people, the relationship is boring if you are not contributing any fun in it.

Try to recall or realize, so far what have you done in your current relationship? Have you done your part?

If you haven't done anything then it is your fault why the relationship breaks down. It is you that should be blamed why that other person was giving you the cold treatment.

Remember being in a relationship is the same when buying soda in a convenience store. You can't get that drink you want unless you give money.

Now give yourself some time to think and reflect maybe it is you who is lost, not the person you deal with. If you don't want to be with that person anymore, why not tell it straight to his/her face and cut it all off. End it right away! Prolonging the agony is not the right thing to do... telling the truth is better, for it will both set you free.

But if you are really sincere about strengthening your current relationship then try to change a bit, you will lose nothing anyway. Pride is not a good thing, so stop being who you are now and CHANGE! :)

**NOTE: I chose the title because I just want it to be my title. :))**

Wasting time in the Library...

I have nothing to write in this post actually, its just that I am so freakin bored around here and the coldness of the area is making me so sleepy. :|

Okay, how was my day so far... well, I brought my THICK-HEAVY Economics book because of the thought that we might going to use it but NO! I didn't even took it out from my bag. *so much for my effort to bring it*

***Next class: FINANCE!!!***

Well, in this class I really am not that confident of what I did on the quiz... I really have the feeling that I kinda messed it all up. (which is not a good thing. ugh! The aircon is making my fingers numb...)

***Last period: Theology***

It was fun actually because our teacher was not wasting the time being so serious about the subject. He puts humor in every topic which is making all of us alive during his class.

Now, I am in the library typing this post... and starting to get so sleepy. I wanna go to my bed and be with it forever... well not literally. haha.

Sweet, sour and spicy? YUM for me! :D

I'm not usually a fan of tamarind or as what we call it: "sampalok" but it kinda help me in some sort of ways. Just like what happened when I was still on my elementary days, I got a very funny experience about it... we were on our way to the dentist and while we're on the taxi one of my milk tooth came right off while I'm chewing "sampalok". A very good thing because we saved some money for the dental fees. *winks*

Then after that I started to avoid any chewy stuff because I am afraid it will take off all of my teeth then I realized that it will never happen again, so I get back of  the sweet and sour chewy stuff. And every time I go at some sari-sari store to buy some sampalok I kinda feel a lil bit hesitant about buying it.

But thanks to my sister she introduces to me the most brilliant creation in the world at the moment...
THE MONIEGOLD!
It may look weird at first but once you taste it, it's wicked! ;)
The sourness and the sweetness blended in very well plus the thrilling dash of some spiciness... PERFECTO!

It may be an imported goodie from Thailand but it's cheap! You can buy this at any candy store. Well, for those who are in Davao, my fellow citizens this candy can be bought at Victoria Plaza and that's it I'm not gonna give you anymore hints to specifically know which candy store at the mall. haha. Because sometimes "the" candy store just ran out of stock. So search the entire mall! he he. :))

with my new fave candy. It is cheaper in pouch!

Hiiiiii!

Hello there my avid readers (if there's any *wink*)!
I haven't updated my blog for weeks now and I missed alot of posts here on my blog.

For June 7th of the beloved year of 2012, I finally went to school to voice out my complains
about my Student Information System (a.k.a. sis) account for being so slow. I was running out of time
because it was already the third day of enrolment and I haven't settle my schedules for this semester yet...
*this is going to take for a while so to make this long story short... I AM ENROLLED! :D
And I am no longer an irregular student which really made me so happy that day!!! (^-^)/

see that word REGULAR in bold letters over there??? and oh yeah, I finally belong to a section! hehe.

Because it is kinda overwhelming, we watched Madagascar 3 at G-mall with my mom and sister.
It was so funny, I love how Marty wears that rainbow colored-afro-wig. I also love the effects, the movie was so colorful and all. It is better in 3D though it's a lil bit pricy but it's worth it. :)
