It all started yesterday when my cousin was acting really weird... and accidentally vomited on my bed. I was beginning to be suspicious that this is not a normal "kabag" or "panuhot" something... she's been feeling ill since that morning. Well, it turned out that I am right, her temperature raised up to 39 degree C (which is clearly and absolutely not normal!!!) so we gave her the usual meds for children who got fever and waited for hours for it to take action and make my cousin feel better. But, the unexpected happen, it didn't make her temperature lower. So my mom decided to bring her to some kind of a clinic which have doctors during weekends. After running through some tests, it all came out that it is not dengue fever (which is a relief).
So they returned home and was all okay until her temperature raised up again to 39 and she begun to wail and cry as if she wants to escape the pain. Everyone panicked because we all try to figure out what she really feels, it's kinda hard to tell from an almost two year old lil' girl who still don't have the ability to express what she really want to say.
It was around 11:50pm (I'm not sure about the time though) when they decided to bring her to the *** ***** hospital. As my mom told me what happened in there it really made me so pissed. They were there at midnight and returned home at 5am (they really waited for long hours), it is because this "intern" almost forgot that my mom was waiting for her to interpret the lab test results. Well, this intern is kinda "shunga-shunga" and started to act as if she don't know who is she talking to, which is my mom. So my ever-"isug" mama started to get pissed and scolds the intern and also my aunt started to scold everyone in the emergency room because her daughter is really burning from her fever and no one was taking them seriously. (As I am typing the story right now, I am really pounding the keyboard. I AM LITERALLY PISSED!)
Well, that's how it happened in that hospital. I just realized that they returned home and was kinda confused why my cousin is not admitted... Well, maybe because that "shunga" intern told them to go home because my cousin is just having a normal fever. I don't know but I was still worried about her, she's still having the same 39-high temperature. It was around 8am when I heard everyone was shouting and my aunt is started to cry so hard like somebody close to her died... then I opened my eyes and started to know what happened. It was her daughter... she started to shake like she's fighting between life and death... trying to catch her breath... My mom hurriedly carry her and started to ask our neighbor to help her get my cousin to the hospital. Good thing, we have a lovely neighborhood in this village... gah! I so wanna hug them because they really reached out to help. One neighbor rushed to their car still on their pj's and waved to my mom and said to get in. Then there's one neighbor who came and asked which hospital did they bring her, it was all then we realized that she is a doctor. She rushed to the hospital when my mom call that they are at ***... well, thanks to her because she scolds the staff for being so slow.
Now as I am writing this post, my cousin is finally taken care of at ****. Hope that hospital will not let her go home not unless she is better. To the readers of this post, if ever someone will have the chance to read this... please pray for my cousin.
And I really wanted to say thank you to those who help. Thank you!
